When I dream, I can still see her. She's sitting in my studio with the moonlight caressing her skin, humming her favorite song. I tell her that Sarah means princess in Hebrew, and she laughs, because she thinks it's a bit of a silly name for a slave girl to have. I try to tell her I don't think so, but she already knows, and just continues humming, until I wake up, and she is no longer anywhere near me. -Noah

Hi Fearsome long time no see! Just wanted to let you know, Noah and Sarah are both in their late teens early 20's, Noah just has grey hair b/c he fell on his head when he was a toddler, I'm serious. XD That info wa sjust in case anyone was confused. XD;

Timer lies like a rug.

This has been sitting around foooorevvver.

Mute is about to place her candle in the water. I'm not entirely sure why this is done in India, I need to do more research on it, but I DO know that I think it's uber pretty when they do it.

This is gorgeous. I love the patterns on her clothing, and that wild, solid hair is wonderful. Overall this really has a great colour scheme.
Seireeni @ Monday, August 18th 2008, 5:25 AM
I love this character.. Beautiful natural look to her, you've made blue skin look normal but eyecatching. Now I want to go find out what the blue skin color meant in the Indian mythology. oh and i love the hair

Thanks guys! I'm glad you all like Miss Mute here. ^_^

Seireeni: Thank you! ^__^ Indian mythos and the Hindu relegion are sooooo wonderful to learn about. ( Very intense and confusing as well at times.) I believe they depecit certain Hindu gods with blue skin to imply that the skin is luminously pale? Or something like that. I based the basic color scheme for Mute on one of my favorite Hindu Deities, Krishna. ^_^

She's so beautiful! This picture is really lovely. I love the way you shaped her hair and how the jewelry is formed just by colors. Reminds me of when I visited India!

" First I'll make you some Kielbasa, then some Placki kartoflane...and for dessert..."
Likla thinks Japanese boys are too skinny and she wants to feed them some real food. Yuki thinks Polish Girls tend to ramble sometimes, but they're cute.

Oh fearsome! Forgive this crappiness...xc; it's so full of mistakes....

Fun Fact: In WW2, my grandfather stole potatos from the german-soliders so he could make Placki ( Polish Potato Pancakes) XD

This is outrageously adorable. My favourite parts have to be the pattern on her dress and the background.
Malpanka @ Sunday, August 10th 2008, 3:04 PM
ahahah sorry i thought you should be half polish or something, because the girl has identical outfit as one of the old polish cartoon characters (Dumpling was her name) and because of the subject you've chosen

Ah thank you Malpanka! ^_^ I'm mostly polish/lithuanian ( with a dash of mongolian) and Irish and Scottish. My grandfather, who might have known some polish, passed away before I was old enough to talk, so unfortunatly my understanding of the language is limited to food lol.

But I'm proud of being all that I am, and I really wanted to have a polish character, so I did a lot of research on the folk-dress. ( SO! Many differnt styles!) Dumpling sounds adorable! I shall have to look her up! ^_^
